So 24 hours in ...

I am thrilled to say that the journey so far has been without any major hitches.  The flight was great and the expected turbulence wasn't anything as bad as our previous mission.  We got outing the road leaving Las Vegas with temperatures of 110 degrees F.  We realised 4 hours into the 7 hour drive that it would be best to stop over for the night, grab a good nights sleep and aim to get into Gallup mid morning tomorrow.  So here we are in a typical Route 66 motel doing just that.  I'll say 'night night' and add some more tomorrow.

  2. So glad you decided to have a sleepover before heading off on the 300 mile journey to your ultimate destination, and trust the rest of your mission will go smoothly at least is what I'm praying for :-)
